Randy and I went to the Philippines with Scott Guthrie and Tommy Dockery. There we spoke at a three day pastor’s conference. Each of us shared along the theme of identity in Christ. Scott and Tommi did a phenomenal job; they were a fantastic asset to the team.. The worship times were dynamic; it was precious to behold and participate with fellow believers, whose hearts are ablaze for Lord.
During the subsequent days in the Philippines, we visited various churches each day to bless and encourage them. We also did food distribution at some of the less advantaged churches. The Filipino people are beyond gracious and hospitable. They created massive spreads of food at each stop. So much eating!

Things to know before you go:
*Note: The cost of the trip helps cover the expense associated with food and lodging for those to whom we will minster. They maybe asked to pay a minimal fee, but it will not cover the full cost. The intent is to bless everyone we come in contact with, never create a burden.
*ALL FUNDS MUST BE PAID IN FULL 60 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP DEPARTURE DATE
*Ministry Allies International and Destiny Christian Center stand to make no money from organizing this trip. However, if money is left over after expenses are taken out money will be put back into the Destiny missions fund/Ministry Allies International or donated to the local ministry.
*Safety policy: We will never go anywhere that we don't have long term, established relationships with the local ministry. If our team on the ground can commit to our safe passage and keeping we will go. They have the best sense of the region. While taken into consideration, we do not base base our decisions solely on governmental warnings.

Leisure Time
We feel strongly that when joining us on any mission trip you should experience the country and culture. We intentionally build three days of leisure into every trip. When visiting the Philippines our homebase, Kalibo, has an interesting market in which locals purchase everyday goods, but tourists will also find many handmade treasures to take home. Few locations rival the beauty of the Filipino countryside. The lush, tropical, flora, and fauna of the region is simply breathtaking. The crystal clear beach water provides a beautiful backdrop for sunny days of leisure at the beach. Don’t forget your snorkel and goggles!
